LiveCDs

In 2002 I had my first contact with VMware Workstation and Windows-LiveCDs (BartPE)
Combining both appeared to me as the logical next step.
Although that was widely regarded as impossible at that time I started work.
One and a half year later I had reason to celebrate 😉
Since then I create LiveCDs with VMware Workstation.
Later BartPE based builds also were able to run Converter and ViClient.
In recent years the focus changed to Linux LiveCDs and Remote-support.

Unfortunately almost all applications made by VMware are non-distributable so I can not offer complete downloads for the most interesting builds.
Only the VMFS-Recovery LiveCDs are distributable – so you will only find a download for those builds that I use for Remote-support.
Construction kits are available for the latest stable BartPE  – still useful for Coldclone P2V.

If you need something special – maybe I can create it for you. Feel free to ask – obscure ideas are welcome.

In this section of the Blog I will concentrate on LiveCDs that I use myself regularly.
You can find more articles about my LiveCDs in the german VMware forum, in VMTN, the 911-forum, Bootland and sanbarrow.com

One of the reasons to start this blog is the plan to consolidate all this scattered posts in one location.
