  1. Hallo Ulli,

First of all, than you for you help to newbies vmware users 🙂 i read some of your many posts, i have learnt a lot from you.

I am in critical situation with old vSphere 5.5 unfortunately support by VMWare ended septembre 2018 therefore the only hope is maybe is you.

In my company we have 11 VM on single hard disk (no backup) under ESXI 5.5.0 build 1131820

8 of those 11 VM were up and running but there was power outage. So the esxi was not shutdown properly.

First i had issues to access vSphere via vcenter (i restarted the agent management services via ssh) but the behaviour of the exsi was not normal, i got on logs randomly hosd non responsive messages every 5 min aprox.

Then after new reboot i got access again via vcenter (not url as this version is not compatible as you know) but datastore was lost, noypersistent message datastore under storage tab.

I wrote in the post https://communities.vmware.com/thread/596872?start=15&tstart=0 regardingDatastore not show in the Storage list

I have the file of VMFS-Header-dump ready, the link is ready on onedrive but in order to share i need your email address.

It is 1.5Gb compressed 500Mb file, also i created new datastore with spare disk (the exsi is mounted on 410 poweredge)

Please let me know if there is a chance to save the VMs, there are 4 critical ones that i hope we can rescue.

    my skype id is mdavila@teldat.com.

    Many thanks,
    Moisés
